INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We ship all orders from our small sewing studio located in Kyiv, Ukraine.
All international packages are shipped as registered airmail via Ukrposhta, the national postal operator of Ukraine. Once the parcel arrives in the destination country, it is handed over to and handled by the national postal operator of the receiving country for local processing and delivery.

Once your parcel enters the destination country, the same tracking number can usually also be entered on the website of the destination country's national postal operator to view local tracking updates.
All of our pieces are handmade to order, and our processing time is approximately 2 weeks. Shipping times provided on our website are estimated delivery timeframes only and are not guaranteed.
Please allow a few additional business days in some cases for finishing, quality checking, packing, and preparing your order for shipment.
Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date, birthday, holiday, photoshoot, wedding, event, vacation, or any other customer-requested deadline. If you need an order for a particular date, please contact us before placing your order so we can advise you of the current estimated production and shipping timeframe. Placing an order with a desired event date does not constitute an agreement or guarantee that the order will arrive by that date.
Our standard international shipping service is registered airmail and is not a guaranteed or express delivery service. Delivery times can vary and may be affected by customs clearance, postal processing, transportation delays, strikes, weather, natural occurrences, or other circumstances outside of our control.
Dannie and Lilou is not responsible for delays caused by international postal services, customs authorities, air or ground transportation, strikes, weather, natural occurrences, or other circumstances beyond our control. We provide estimated shipping timelines based on available information and recent shipping experience, but these should not be considered guaranteed delivery dates.
Dannie and Lilou is also not responsible for package deliveries affected by an invalid, incomplete, or old address provided by the customer.

SHIPPING TO THE USA
All orders to the USA are shipped from our small sewing studio in Kyiv, Ukraine using a consolidated international shipping service.
Your parcel first travels from Ukraine to the United States as part of a consolidated shipment. Once the shipment reaches our logistics partner in the USA, the individual parcels are handed over to USPS/UPS for final delivery.

Please note that USPS tracking may initially show “Pre-Transit,” “Label Created,” “Awaiting Item,” or a similar status after your order has been shipped.
This is normal for our consolidated USA shipping service. The USPS label is created in advance, but USPS does not physically receive the individual parcel until it reaches the USA and is transferred to USPS by our US logistics partner.
The international portion of the journey from Ukraine to the USA generally takes around 10 business days. During this time, USPS tracking may not show any movement because the parcel is still traveling internationally and has not yet entered the USPS network.
Once the parcel arrives in the USA and is handed over to USPS, the tracking will begin showing regular USPS scans as the package moves through the domestic postal system.
Therefore, a “Pre-Transit” or “Awaiting Item” status does not mean that your order has not been shipped. It simply means that USPS has not yet physically received the parcel.
Our USA delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Based on our recent shipping experience, USPS delivery generally takes approximately 12-14 business days after the order has been shipped, including the international transportation to the USA and the final USPS delivery.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES
Please note that import duties, customs fees and VAT charges may apply to international deliveries outside of Ukraine and are not included in your order total.
Dannie and Lilou assumes no responsibility for any import duties, VAT, customs charges, customs clearance delays, or other fees imposed by the destination country.
Once a parcel arrives in the destination country and is handed over to the local postal operator and/or customs authorities, customs clearance and any communication or requirements from the destination country's customs authorities are outside of our control.
If a parcel is refused by the recipient or returned due to unpaid customs charges, failure to provide required documents, or other customs-related reasons, we will not reship or refund the order, including shipping fees.
International Sales & Returns
Due to varying customs, international shipping and freight costs, all international sales are final.
Our items are handmade to order and many pieces are customized according to the customer's selected size, fabric, color and embroidery. Because each piece is made specifically for the individual order, we cannot guarantee that returned items can be resold.
LOST, DAMAGED OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Dannie and Lilou is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages once they have been shipped.
If your parcel has not been delivered within 1.5 months from the shipping date, please contact us. We will file a lost parcel claim with Ukrposhta and investigate the shipment.
Please note that we cannot issue a monetary refund for a parcel that has been officially confirmed as lost by Ukrposhta. Once Ukrposhta confirms the parcel as lost, we can issue store credit equal to the value of the order, excluding the original shipping cost.
